EMBASSY SUITES LA VISTA now hiring AM/PM RESTAURANT HOST/CASHIER.  Part-time and full-time positions available.  Shifts will vary. 

Job Purpose:

To greet guests upon entrance to the dining room, direct guests to appropriate seating, and record payments upon guest's completion of meal.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Schedules dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for diners
• Greets guests, escorts them to tables, provides menus, and adds or removes place settings as required.
• Notifies servers of new tables and notifies line cooks of the arrival of large parties
• Prepares beverages and expedites food orders when needed.
• Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
• Adjusts complaints of guests as directed by the supervisor.

• Must take initiative to great guests in a friendly and warm manner
• Must have a great attitude and excellent customer services skills
• Must report to work on time for scheduled shifts
• Must know and comply with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties
